Detective Dean Nyland will be honored by the American Legion at their “40th Annual Law Enforcement Officer of the Year” recognition night. 
On December 13, 2013, Detective Dean Nyland was selected as the “2013 Deputy of the Year”. Detective Nyland was nominated by his peers recommended by the Commendation Review Board and selected by the Sheriff for this award. Congratulations Dean!
Detective Nyland will be honored by the American Legion at their “40th Annual Law Enforcement Officer of the Year” recognition night that will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 523 Bush Street in Woodland. Family and friends are invited to attend the ceremony.
