Bank Robbery – Poway
The Poway Sheriff's Station wants your help in identifying and locating a man who robbed a US Bank branch on Valentine's Day.
It happened just after 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14 at the US Bank located inside Albertsons in the 14000 block of Pomerado Road.
Surveillance cameras captured the suspect approach two US Bank employees. He then demanded money and made a gesture that he had a weapon in his waist area. The bank employees gave the suspect an unknown amount of money.
Witnesses say the suspect left the store and got into the passenger side of a dark blue Chevy S 10 pickup truck in the Albertsons parking lot. There is no description of the getaway driver.
No one was hurt.
The suspect is described as a white male in his early to mid-20's, standing about 5'10" with brown hair and a thin to medium build. During the robbery, he wore dark sunglasses, a hooded sweatshirt jacket and a red bandana that covered his nose and mouth.
