Due to salt shortage, roads may be icier than normal; please shovel out hydrants and storm drains; garbage pickup resumes tomorrow. 
The following information is being provided to assist residents of Denville with snow related issues that we are experiencing within the township. First, there is a regional shortage of salt for de-icing the roadways. As a result, the township road department is utilizing less salt during storms in order to conserve our remaining supply. This may cause road conditions to be more slippery and icy during and after the storms. Please exercise extra caution when driving. Second, the township is asking for residents to assist us in fire protection and flood mitigation by shoveling out the fire hydrant and any storm drains near your property. Lastly, regular garbage pick up service shall resume on Monday, February 17th.
