Four masked men rob Sandoval’s Market in George
GEORGE, Wash. (14FEB2014) – Grant County Detectives are asking the public for help finding four masked gunman who robbed Sandoval’s Market in George last night.
Around 8 p.m. Feb. 13 the four men entered the store, forced the two store clerks to hand over the store’s cash, and then tied them up. A customer who entered the store during the robbery was also tied up. Nobody was injured during the robbery.
A black 2002 Chrevrolet Avalanche was seen in front of the store at the time of the robbery. The Avalanche was found abandoned a short distance away on Beverly Burke Road Southwest after the robbery. The Avalanche had been listed as stolen out of the Tri-Cities. It’s probable the robbers abandoned the Avalanche and got into one or more other vehicles to escape.
Anyone with information, or who saw any unusual people or vehicles in or near George last night are asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 509-762-1160, or send info to [email protected]. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
