The North Brunswick Office of Emergency Management and the North Brunswick Fire Department need your assistance. You can help us to help you, by removing snow from around fire hydrants on or near your property. Please remove the snow from a minimum of three feet in all directions around the hydrant. Many hydrants are covered with snow that has turned to ice, making it very difficult for firefighters to connect hoses to them. Valuable time is lost as firefighters are clearing snow and ice from around the hydrants in an emergency.
