Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews re-opened Leokane St., between Leoleo and Leoole Streets, by 5 a.m. today. The roadway had been closed since about 10 a.m. yesterday when a 12-inch main broke.
BWS had restored water service by 9 p.m. last night to the seven industrial business customers who had been affected by the main break.
The BWS would like to thank its customers and area motorists for the patience and understanding as its crews worked to restore water service and the roadway as quickly as possible.
