Automated trash collection for Thursday 2/13/14 has been cancelled. It will be scheduled for Saturday 2/15/14. Snow accumulations of 6 to 10 inches can be expected. Expect power outages as a result of heavy wet snow and ice. Be aware of downed utility lines and tree branches. 2 to 5 inches of snow accumulation is possible for the morning commute. Please remove your vehicles from roadways to allow for more effective snow removal. Remember there is no parking on any streets which are “snow Emergency Routes”.
Please remove snow from fire hydrants , clean an area of three feet in all directions around fire hydrants. Do not place snow from your property onto the streets, not only does it create problems for drivers it is also prohibited in the North Brunswick Township Code.
1) Remember to charge your cell phones and other mobile devices.
2) Fill up your cars fuel tank.
3) Ensure you have a battery powered radio and fresh batteries.
4) Check your supply of flashlights, blankets, nonperishable food and bottled water.
