As the winter storm nears please remember that 911 is to be used for emergencies only and not to report power outages. Crews will be working throughout the night and all day tomorrow monitoring and addressing any power issues that arise. Road crews are reporting tonight to adress any problems with icing on the roadways. Our Crisis Management Center is already opened and staffed for the duration of the storm. Extra manpower for emergency responders has already been allocated and put into place to address any issues that develops. We will continue to send out alerts throughout the day tomorrow that will keep you up to date on road conditions, power outages and any urgent information you need to be aware of if your in Marietta.
