Poseyville man being held without bond after Monday evening incident. 
On February 10, 2014 at 9:40 p.m. The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a
battery that had just occurred in the rural Owensville area. Gibson County Deputies U.B. Smith
and Tim Speedy were dispatched to Owensville where they spoke with the victim of the incident.
After obtaining information from the victim deputies went to 10093 S Koch Drive (near the
Posey Gibson line) to speak with the other party. At the conclusion of the investigation Joshua
David White age 31 of Poseyville was taken into custody.
Mr. White was charged with:
IC 35-42-2-1.3(B) Battery in the presence of a child
IC 35-42-3-3 Criminal Confinement
IC 35-42-2-9 Strangulation
IC 35-42-2-1(a)(3) (Additional Battery charge)
Mr. White is being held without a set bond.
