On 1/21/2014 at 4:58pm the WTPD arrested a male, age 42 of Washington NJ. The Police were called to a residence on Washington Ave in Washington for a disturbance regarding a man with a knife. The male was arrested for Terroristic Threats, Obstruction, Simple assault, Unlawful possession of a weapon and Possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes.

On 1/22/2014 at 4:00pm the WTPD arrested a male, age 20 of Washington, NJ. A male age 19 of Washington, NJ, and a juvenile male of Phillipsburg, NJ. The Police were called to the area of Rt 57 and North Prospect Street for a report of 5 disorderly males. The three subjects were all charged with Creating a Nuisance and released. JV was turned over to his mother.

On 1/23/2014 at 3:50 pm an adult male of Morrisville Pa was arrested at the WTPD for an $81.00 warrant. He was process and released after posting bail.

On 1/25/2014 the WTPD arrested a male, age 51 of Washington NJ. He was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI). He was stopped for several motor vehicle infractions. He was processed and released with the following summonses:
Driving under the influence (DUI), fail to maintain lane (2 counts), Careless driving and improper U-turn.

On 1/25/2014 a female, age 20, of Glen Gardner NJ was arrested for two warrants totaling $270.00. She was processed and released after posting bail.

On 1/27/2014 a male, age 25 of Washington NJ was arrested for Aggravated assault (6 counts), resisting arrest, obstruction of justice and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested after police were called to his residence for a disturbance. He was remanded to the Warren County Jail in default of $15,000 bail.

On 1/28/2014 a male, age 25, of Phillipsburg NJ was arrested for creating a nuisance. He was arrested after police were called to a residence on Broad Street for a verbal disturbance. He was processed and released.

On 1/29/2014 a male, age 27, of Washington NJ was arrested for criminal mischief, creating a nuisance and an outstanding warrant from Clinton Twp. He was arrested after police were called to a residence on Belvidere Ave for a loud party causing a disturbance. Police found a window broken out at the residence. He was processed and released.

On 1/30/2014 a female, age 25, of Columbia NJ was arrested for two outstanding warrants totaling $300. Police stopped her motor vehicle on Rt57 by Brass Castle Rd for driving erratically. During the stop it was learned that she had outstanding warrants. She was processed and released on bail.

On 1/31/2014 a male, age 25, of Washington NJ was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI). He was stopped in Washington on Rt 31 for a motor vehicle offense and was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was processed and released with the following summons: driving under the influence and failing to maintain lanes.

On 1/31/2014 a female, age 24, was arrested on two outstanding warrants totaling $600. She was stopped in the Quick Check parking lot on Belvidere Ave for a motor vehicle violation. She was processed and released.

On 1/31/2014 a male, age 34, of Washington NJ was arrested for maintaining a nuisance and an outstanding warrant from south Bound Brook NJ for $750. Police were called to Belvidere Ave in Washington for a suspicious male. The male was pointed out to the Officers. Upon contact with the subject he became loud and irate while school age children were walking past. During the interview it was learned that he had an outstanding warrant. He was charged with maintaining a nuisance, processed and released.

On 1/31/2014 a male, age 48, of Washington was arrested for an outstanding warrant for $200. Bail was posted for him and he was given a new court date.

On 1/30/2014 a female, age 25, of Columbia NJ was arrested for Possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and possession of prescription medicine without a prescription.
She was processed and taken to Warren County Jail in default of $5000 bail.

On 2/1/2014 a male, age 39, of Reading Pa was arrested for possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and simple assault. Police were called to the Westgate Apts for a physical dispute. An investigation at the scene found that he had struck his girlfriend with a broom. He was processed and taken to the Warren County Jail in default of $7500 bail.

On 2/2/2014 a female, age 32, of Delaware NJ was arrested for two warrants totaling $187. She was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Rt31 in Washington. During the stop it was leaned that she had outstanding warrants. She was processed and released after posting bail. She also received summonses for failing to inspect and not having insurance.

On 2/2/2014 WTPD arrested a 16 year old juvenile male on Pleasant Valley Road for Burglary to a residence. The JV was chased from the area and apprehended behind Tractor Supply on Rt57 West in Washington. He was processed and released to his mother with the following charges: Burglary, Theft and possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS).

On 2/3/2014 a male, age 21, of Washington NJ was arrested for two outstanding warrants totaling $254. He was processed and released.

On 2/5/2014 a male, age 38, of Washington NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant. Police spotted him on Broad Street and had the WARCOM confirm that there was an outstanding warrant. Same was confirmed and he was taken into custody, processed and released on bail.

On 2/8/2014 a female, age 24, of Washington NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant. She was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Jackson Ave in Washington. During the stop it was learned that she had a warrant for $145. She was processed and released after posting bail.

On 2/7/2014 a male, age 32, of Easton PA was arrested for an outstanding warrant. Police stopped his vehicle for a motor vehicle violation on Rt 57 in Washington. During the stop it was learned that he had a warrant from Essex County for $274. He was processed and released on bail. He received the following summonses: Speeding, suspended license, failed to provide documents, failed to inspect, fictitious plates, failed to surrender suspended license and no seat belt.

Also arrested from the above motor vehicle stop was a male, age 25, of Easton Pa. He also had warrants for his arrest from Essex County he was processed and lodged at the warren county jail.

On 2/8/2014 a male, age 30, of Washington NJ was arrested for maintaining a nuisance and a warrant from Newark NJ for $5000. He was found passed out in the Quick Check bathroom. He was processed and released on bail.

On 2/8/2014 a male, age 23, of Washington NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant by Phillipsburg PD they turned him over to the WTPD for processing and he was lodged in the Warren County Jail in default of bail.

On 2/9/2014 a male, age 27, of Oxford NJ was arrested for Burglary of a motor vehicle, theft, attempt to conceal evidence and resisting arrest. He was arrested after police were called to the Valley View Rd in Washington for a suspicious person looking in cars. Police spotted him leaning into a car on Valley View. He spotted the patrol car and fled but the Officer chased him on foot and apprehended him a short distance away. He was taken to the Warren County Jail in default of $10,000.

The WTPD is investigating 2 other car burglaries on Valley View that also occurred around the same time. Anyone on Valley View and surrounding area that suspects their car was burglarized pleased contact the WTPD asap.
