Sheriff publishes list of unclaimed stolen property from Quincy raid
GRANT COUNTY, Wash. (02FEB2014) - The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is publishing a list of unclaimed stolen property recovered Jan. 27 during a raid at 12253 Road P-Northwest, rural Quincy, case number 13GS15507. To view this list, go to www.co.grant.wa.us/SHERIFF/HTM/SPR.htm.
People wishing to claim seized property must provide proof of ownership. Acceptable forms of proof:
1. A report from a law enforcement agency listing the property as stolen, and/or
2. Identification of property through serial number, and/or
3. Identification of property through identifying marks or engravings on the item(s).
People wishing to claim property should call the Sheriff’s Evidence Specialist at 509-754-2011 ext. 468, then press “0”. The Evidence Specialist is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Investigators have recovered scores of stolen items, and I am hopeful the crime victims can get their property back,” said Sheriff Tom Jones.
