Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews completed repairs and re-opened the road at the corner of N. King St. and Poepoe Pl. at about 8:45 p.m. tonight. Both Ewa-bound lanes had been closed from this afternoon to allow crews to fix a 6-inch main that broke last night.
Water service had been restored by 4 p.m. to the ten customers who had been without water service since the main broke last night.
The BWS would like to thank the affected customers and area motorists for their patience and understanding while its crews worked as quickly as possible to restore water service and the roadway.
