Road Conditions 
The snow is accumulating in lanes on arterials, collectors, neighborhood streets and intersections around the City. Driving conditions at this time are slippery.
Our Public Works crews are out sanding arterials, collectors and intersections around the City to help with traction, but must wait until snow is packed down enough that the mix can sit on top rather than get covered up and add to the problem.
It is our understanding that schools are running on regular scheduled release. Sanding crews will deploy sand around the schools prior to release.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE SAND TRUCKS. It is recommended staying 100 feet behind them or more to avoid damage to your vehicle.
