On 02/03/2014 at approximately 7:45 am, an Angels Camp Police Officer responded to the PG&E yard, located at 1108 Murphys Grade Road, for a stolen vehicle and burglary report. The thefts occurred sometime between Friday, January 31st at 5:00 pm to Monday, February 3, 2014 at 7:45 am.
A 2013 Dodge Ram pickup truck with “TGR Helicopters” decals on the front doors, tools, flashlights, an aircraft seat cushion, a helicopter part, a laptop, and a television were stolen. In addition to the stolen items, five PG&E trucks were vandalized. Total loss was estimated to be over $35,000.
The stolen vehicle and some of the stolen items were recovered on 02/04/2014. Multiple law enforcement agencies are involved in the investigation and are working towards identifying suspects and recovering the remainder of the outstanding property.
