CITY OF NEWARK REMINDS RESIDENTS THAT CITY HALL AND MUNICIPAL COURT WILL BE CLOSED DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS AND STATE OF EMERGENCY
Mayor Luis A. Quintana and the Newark Municipal Council announced today that City Hall, the Newark Municipal Court, all recreation centers, the municipal health clinic, and other municipal buildings are closed today due to weather conditions and the State of Emergency that has been declared. All operations in those buildings will be suspended for the day. Today’s Municipal Council meeting, set for 12:30 p.m., has been cancelled. Police, fire, and other uniformed emergency services will be unaffected.
