Snow Storm Information-

All North Arlington schools & Queen of Peace Hs & Grammar are CLOSED tomorrow Wednesday Feb 5

Gov. Chris Christie has declared a state of Emergency all non essential state employees are off tomorrow because state offices will be CLOSED

North Arlington residents are reminded of the following:

It is illegal to reserve parking spots using cones, chairs, trash cans or other items. Any items left in the street will be removed.

Help your neighbors and Emergency responders shovel your steps and walk ways. shovel around Fire Hydrants and sewer grates.

DO NOT THROW SNOW IN THE STREET.

All sidewalk MUST be cleared of snow with in 12 hours of snow fall stopping.

Alternate side parking & Street sweeping are suspended

All are reminded vehicle MUST be removed from Snow Emergency Streets for plowing vehicles not moved will be summonsed and towed.

The Following are SNOW EMERGENCY STREETS:
Beaver Ave
Belmount Ave from Ridge Rd to York Rd
Canterbury Ave from Ridge Rd to Schuyler Ave
Prospect Ave from Belleville Turnpike to Sunset Ave
Ridge Road (Entire Length)
Rutherford Place Beaver ave to Inman Pl (West side of street)

When more than 5 inches of snow is expected these additional streets are designated SNOW EMERGENCY Streets:

Park Ave Rutherford Pl to Schuyler Ave
Belmount Ave from York Rd to River Rd
Stover Ave
Gold St
Riverview Ave from Locust Ave to Veterans Pl
Riverview Ave from Bergen Ave to Jauncey Ave
Sixth St
Second St
