Snowstorm / power outage and public parking information

With the expected snowstorm arriving sometime overnight into tomorrow residents are reminded to remove their vehicles from public roadways. Vehicles which are parked on a public way during the snowstorm are subject to being towed at the owners expense.

During the height of the snowstorm during the day tomorrow (Wednesday) travel only if necessary and give yourself extra time as you can expect significant delays based on what is expected to be heavy snowfall.

Please review the following information provided by National Grid in the case of a power outage, please do not call the Police Department to report power outages as our communication specialists will be busy with emergency calls and will not be able to provide you with power outage information.

A message from National Grid;

National Grid is monitoring the forecasted snow event expected to start early tomorrow morning Wednesday, February 5. In anticipation of this weather event, we are making arrangements for additional crews to be on hand tonight and through the day tomorrow.
If any outages do occur in your area, it is imperative that they be reported via our Customer Service or Outage Reporting phone numbers (provided below.) Every outage phone call that we receive is logged into our outage tracking system and better enables us to pinpoint the location of the issue. The sooner that we can identify the location of the issue, the better that we can respond.

The Customer Service Line is: 1-800-322-3223
