Please clear fire hydrants and sidewalks of snow. 
With the latest snowfall and additional snow expected later this week, the Borough is asking for your help by clearing the snow from around the fire hydrant located nearest your home. Clearing a three foot area around the hydrant will allow firefighters to connect hoses immediately upon arrival instead of first removing snow from around the hydrant. You will be helping your neighbors and your family by saving firefighters precious time in the event of an emergency.
Residents with sidewalks and walkways are reminded that snow and ice must be cleared within 12 hours of daylight after snow fall.
