McDowell County Sheriff’s Office investigators are searching for 29-year-old Matthew Dwight Branch, of Ned McGimpsey Road in Nebo.
He is wanted on one count each of felony possession of stolen goods, felony larceny and misdemeanor injury to personal property.
In one of Branch’s cases, Detective Billie Brown also charged Brenda Joyce Hicks, 40, of Seagle Street in Marion, on Jan. 27 with felony larceny of a motor vehicle and misdemeanor damage to personal property.
On Jan. 10, Andrea Arrowood, of Marion, reported that someone stole her 2007 Dodge Magnum from a home on Mudcut Road.
An investigation led to Hicks and Branch. Both are acquainted with the victim.
The Dodge was recovered but had extensive damage.
In a separate case, Detective Nathan Mace has charged Branch with stealing a truck and a weed trimmer from John Fleming, of Marion.
Mace said, in October, Fleming allowed Branch to borrow his 1984 Datsun pickup with the understanding that Branch would return it a couple of hours later.
On Jan. 17, Fleming filed a report that the truck was never returned.
