Failure to Signal Turn traffic stop ends with two minor consumption charges.

On February 2, 2014, at 3 a.m. Deputy Bryan Small observed a Blue 1994 Ford passenger vehicle turn westbound on Broadway from First Avenue in Princeton, Indiana without using its turn signal. Deputy Small initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified all persons in the vehicle. During a roadside investigation Deputy Small discovered that the driver Cynthia R. Seibert age 43 of Mount Carmel was operating her vehicle with an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle. Deputy Small also discovered that Matthew S. Doan age 20 of Princeton and Letisha M. Cook age 20 of Fort Branch had both being consuming alcoholic beverages while being under the legal drinking age.

Cynthia R. Seibert was issued a citation for Failure to Signal Turn and an Open Container Violation. At the conclusion of the roadside investigation Ms. Seibert released from the scene. Mr. Doan and Ms. Cook were transported to the Gibson County Jail where they were charged with Minor Consumption. Each are still in custody on a $450 bond.
