Steuben remains at yellow travel advisory

The Steuben County Commissioners in cooperation with the Sheriff, Steuben County Highway and the Steuben County Emergency Management will continue with a Snow ADVISORY Level for Steuben County into tomorrow (Thursday January 30th). Conditions will be evaluated at 10:00 A.M. Thursday and a status update will be released shortly thereafter. County highway continues to reported that county roads are now open however some have large snow banks and will be narrow in places. Pay loader removal of snow in these areas are expected to continue throughout the day Wednesday and into Thursday. Please be alert for highway snow removal equipment when driving.

Regular media outlets plus the Sheriff Facebook page, www.steubensheriff.com and Nixle text alerts will be used to alert everyone of any updates.

County offices including the court house are resumeing regular business hours.
