Pellet Gun Shooter Gets Away 
On January 23, 2014 at 5:20 p.m. an unknown suspect shot a pellet gun at Morgan Hill Officers while they were searching for a missing person. Officers were walking along the creek bed between Ciolino Avenue and Spring Avenue when someone began shooting the pellet gun at them nearly striking both officers.
The suspect was shooting from a backyard located on Manor Court. With the assistance of Santa Clara County Sheriff Department a search was conducted but did not reveal the suspect.
The Morgan Hill Police Department would also like to remind our community that discharging, or shooting, a pellet gun or any weapon that propels an object is a violation of the Morgan Hill Municipal Code 9.04.010—while shooting it at someone is an assault with a deadly weapon.
