2 injury in crash

Sheriff Joseph M Underwood Jr. reports on 1/25/14 at 1604 hrs, his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash on Bame Ave in Howard Township, Cass County Michigan. 33 yr old Niles Resident Keith Peterson and his 8 yr old daughter, Emily, were riding their snowmobile south on Bame Ave when 60 yr Niles Resident, Randall Womble, pulled his vehicle out of his driveway and the two vehicles collided. Both Petersons were taken to Memorial hospital for treatment and Mr. Womble was not injuried. It is believed that the Petersons were wearing helmets and Mr. Womble was wearing his seat belt. Alcohol may have been a factor. This case is still under investigation. Assisting were Howard Township First Responders and SMCAS ambulance service.
