The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Adult Sex Crimes unit has arrested a 33 year-old male in connection with a home invasion and sexual assault that occurred in the Cypress area earlier this month.
HCSO Investigators have charged Rickey Lee Zepeda (DOB01/31/1980) with the sexual assault and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon of a 23 year -old female on January 7, 2014 in the 18000 block of Temple Hill.
Zepeda is also the suspect in the January 21, 2014, home invasion and sexual assault of a woman in the Cypress Landing subdivision.
These charges are pending.
A joint task force of investigators from the HCSO Adult Sex Crimes, members of the HCSO Safe Homes task force and the assistance of the Department of Puplic Safety, Texas Ranger Division are credited with his capture.
