A local woman was arrested Tuesday night after allegedly throwing a rock through her neighbor’s window during a dispute over a man.
Sarah Celeste Wilson, 21, of 160 Morphew Road, Apt. H-7, was taken into custody at her residence shortly after 8:30 p.m. and charged with misdemeanor counts of harassment and first-degree criminal mischief, punishable up to one year in jail, and disorderly conduct.
She was later released on $2,500 bond and is set to appear Feb. 4 in Garland County District Court.
According to reports, GCSD Cpl. Josh Cannon and Deputy Ashley Collier were dispatched to Morphew Road apartments about a woman, later identified as Wilson, causing problems and it was noted this was the third time they had been to the area regarding the same problem.
They made contact with the victim, 24, who stated Wilson was harassing her because she was in a relationship with Wilson’s ex-boyfriend and that Wilson threw a rock through her window and was continuing to threaten her.
The deputies spoke to Wilson, who confirmed the victim was “in a relationship of some sort” with her ex and that she was “mad about it.” She also admitted to making threats and throwing a rock at the window, reportedly valued at $500.
