A state of emergency has been issued for the entire state. We are asking all residents to comply with this state of emergency by staying off the roads. Our area is expected to receive 8-14 inches of snow. Bitter cold temperatures are also expected into tonight, tomorrow and Thursday. In the event you lose power, please contact JCPL at 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877) immediately. If you or anyone you know is dependent on electronic lifesaving medical equipment please call police headquarters at 732-449-7301 so we can add your information to our database and frequently check on you during power outages. I want to also advise parents, that the Sea Girt Elementary School will be closed on Wednesday January 22. All after school and evening activities will also be cancelled for Wednesday. I want to reassure residents, that we have public works, police officers and fire department members all working throughout the night to address any issues that arise during the storm.
