West Long Branch residents, REMEMBER: Parking is prohibited on ALL streets in the Borough at all times while they are snow covered. Avoid getting a summons and help the plows to their jobs by making sure your cars are OFF the street. The old ordinance was not as broad as the current, amended ordinance and only prohibited parking between November and March during the early morning hours. This is NO LONGER the case. Now, parking is prohibited as long as the roads are snow covered, no matter what time of day or year it is.

The West Long Branch Fire Department has asked that we relay to residents that assistance would be appreciated in making sure that hydrants around homes and businesses are also kept clear of snow. This can literally be a life saver, so please do whatever you can to keep your neighborhood fire hydrants clear.

Finally, the roads are fairly treacherous today. Stay home if you can and in any and all cases, use extreme caution during this storm.
