Deputies searching for man who reportedly stole car; hunt is on in Goose Creek Road area 
McDowell County sheriff’s deputies are currently looking for a man who stole a car from Soapy Suds on Rutherford Road, wrecked it on Mount Pleasant Church Road and is now believed to be in the area of a cornfield at 3166 Goose Creek Road.
His identity is unknown, but he is described as a white male, approximately 35 years old, 6 feet tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He has a beard and long hair and was last seen wearing tan work clothes and a Carhartt jacket.
Anyone who sees the suspect or has information about him is asked to call the 911 Communications Center at 652-4000 or the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office at 652-2235.
