WHAT: Sexual Assaults on a Juvenile WHEN: October, 2013 SUSPECT: Vicente O’Campo, DOB: 9-29-79

In October, 2013 the San Luis Obispo Police Department began an investigation involving allegations of a sexual assault on a juvenile victim. During the investigation the victim reported she had been sexually assaulted for the past 3 years by the suspect who has been identified as Vicente O’Campo. The victim said she was twelve years old when she was first molested by O’Campo. O’Campo was the boyfriend of the victim’s mother and had been living in her home for the last several years. After the victim made the report to police, and before O’Campo could be questioned he fled San Luis Obispo in a red over purple 1993 Jeep Cherokee license # 4VXW 152. It is believed that O’Campo may have fled to the Southern California area or possibly into Mexico.

Vicente O’Campo is described as a 34 year old male Hispanic, 5’ 8” tall weighing about 150 lbs. He has short black hair and brown eyes. (See attached photo)

At this point in time we believe that O’Campo may pose a threat to public safety. The San Luis Obispo Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in trying to locate O’Campo for questioning regarding these allegations. We ask that anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Vicente O’Campo contact the San Luis Obispo Police Department of Crime Stoppers.
