Detectives looking for person who stole John Deere ride-on toy from Yancey Road last month; cash reward offered 
McDowell County Sheriff’s Office investigators are looking for the person who stole a John Deere riding toy from a residence on Yancey Road last month.
Dustin Norton reported that someone took the green toy John Deere front-end loader from his yard sometime between 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15 and 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23.
The riding toy is valued at $259.
Anyone with information about the crime or suspect is asked to call Detective Andy Manis at the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office at 652-2237 or McDowell County Crimestoppers at 65-CRIME (652-7463). With Crimestoppers, your identity remains anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward.
