Police Advise Public of Recent Reports of Suspicious Male Approaching Teenage Females

Worcester police are investigating two separate incidents involving a man approaching teenage females going to and from school.

Both incidents occurred over the past week.

It is unknown if the incidents are related.

A teenage female reported that she was waiting for a bus outside of City Hall when she noticed a Hispanic male watching her from across the street. The female stated that she recognized the suspicious male from an incident that took place last month in which he harassed her and made inappropriate comments on her way to the bus stop. The male followed her in his car as she walked to catch the bus.
He is described as a Hispanic male, middle-aged, unshaved, approximately 6 feet tall and medium build. He was driving a black vehicle.

The second incident occurred on Crystal Street when two teenage females were walking home from school. The two females were chased on foot by a male. The females were able to lose sight of the male when they turned onto Illinois Street. He is described as a Hispanic male, middle aged, wearing dark clothing and has a beard.

In response to the incidents, police are urging parents and students to be aware of their surrounding and report any suspicious activity.

The investigation is ongoing.
