Status Change: Missing and Endangered Person Advisory - Monica Helberg
Status Change: Missing and Endangered Person Advisory
The status of today’s Amber Alert incident has been changed to a Missing and Endangered Person Advisory. The primary reason was the victim went missing possibly late Wednesday, which exceeded the criteria for an Amber Alert, which specifies an Amber Alert must be sent within four hours of an abduction incident.
Nonetheless, we are all very concerned about the safety of 16-year-old Monica Helberg since she has not been heard from since late Wednesday Jan. 8. She suffers from severe asthma and her medication and other personal belongings were left behind. We are not certain if she left willingly.
Monica is a white female, standing 5-foot-7-inches tall and weighing 140 lbs. She has brown eyes and long brown hair.
She is believed to be with Miles “Logan” Moncada, 22-year-old Hispanic male, who is 6-foot-1-inch tall and weighs 165 lbs. He has brown eyes and short brown hair.
They may be travelling to California in a yellow 2010 Ford Focus with California license 7AME520.
