Beware of scam where victim receives an automated phone call stating that they overpaid on their taxes for the year.
A Garland County resident stated she received a automated phone call stating that she had overpaid on her taxes last year by $4,000.00. The message gives you a choice of choosing "plan 1", to get all of your money back and have it sent to your account. Then it gives the second option, "plan 2" which has half of the amount of overpaid taxes sent to an animal organization. The victim stated the number that she received that call from was 501-879-1256
