Effective at 12 noon today, Steuben County will be under a travel advisory status of CAUTION only.

A travel advisory status of “Caution” means that a condition may develop that limits or hinders travel in isolated area. Under “Caution”, no travel restrictions have been placed in effect by county officials but citizens should be alert to changing conditions.

Roadway surfaces are all ice/snow packed covered and they continue to be rough and bumpy making traction difficult. Should you have to travel please drive slower than normal, give yourself plenty of travel time and greater distance between traveling vehicles and intersections to be able to stop properly.
