Reward Offered in Bristow Cold Case

The OSBI is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) who killed Michael Gabriel in his Bristow home nearly 23 years ago. January 27, 1991, the 24 year old was found dead inside his home at 207 East Washington. He had been shot in the chest. The Bristow Police Department requested OSBI assistance in the case. OSBI interviewed numerous people and collected evidence at the scene; however, the case has never been solved. “We hope offering a sizeable reward will encourage someone with information to come forward. Time could also be a positive factor in this situation. In other cases where a crime has gone unsolved for decades, we have seen relationships change empowering a witness to come forward,” Jessica Brown, OSBI PIO, says. If anyone has information, please call the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017. A picture of Michael Gabriel is attached.
