As the storm winds down, residents are reminded to please make every effort to remove all vehicles from roadways. Residents are strongly urged to find off street parking during the storm to facilitate snow removal by the DPW.
If vehicles must be parked on Borough streets, parking is permitted overnight TODAY on the ODD HOUSE NUMBERED side of the street until 8:00 am tomorrow morning as today's date is an odd number. As of 10:00 am tomorrow morning vehicles must be moved to the EVEN HOUSE NUMBERED side of the street until 8am Sunday.
Proper parking regulations will be enforced by the Elmwood Park Police Department.
Residents are advised to refrain from throwing or shoveling snow back in to the street as you clear your sidewalks and driveways.
Also, should your home be near a fire hydrant, please ensure that the snow around the hydrant is shoveled and cleared. This assists the Fire Department should an emergency occur in the area.
Again, today being an odd numbered date , vehicles may be parked on the odd house number side of the street from 10:00am today until 8:00 am tomorrow.
