Ephrata, Wash (02JAN2014): Thomas Levi Johnson was sworn in this morning by Sheriff Tom Jones in the latest hiring for the Sheriff's Office. Levi had worked in the Corrections Division for the Sheriff's Office for the past 6 years. He decided to make the jump to the Patrol Division after testing through Public Safety Testing. Sheriff Jones stated, "I am probably just as excited as Levi is about this hiring. It is my first inter-agency hiring since being Sheriff. He is an outstanding employee and I believe the transition will be seemless". Johnson will be assigned to the Charlie Crew under Sergeant Dean Hallatt.
