Avoid having your car ticketed or towed. Refrain from parking on a public roadway in the confines of Mount Kisco from 12:01 am to 8:00 am on Friday, January 3, 2014.

Declaration of Snow Emergency

James M. Palmer, Village Manager of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco, pursuant to Section 101-8 of the Code of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco does hereby declare that a snow emergency exists and by reason of a severe snow storm does hereby establish the following emergency parking and traffic rules and regulations and suspends promulgated rules and regulations insofar as they are inconsistent herewith:

• No parking on any street or roadway from 12:01 am to 8:00 am on Friday, January 3, 2014.

VIOLATORS WILL BE TICKETED OR TOWED

2. No person shall throw or deposit snow upon any plowed portion of any street or roadway. Homeowners are responsible for the actions of private contractors in their employ. This regulation shall not be inconsistent with Section 1219 of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.

• FREE Parking is available in ALL municipal parking lots during the snow emergency.

This declaration shall remain in effect unless revoked by me James M. Palmer Village Manager.
