Agents Called Out to Investigate Early Morning Police-Involved Shooting 
A Mayes County Deputy dispatched to a home in the 13000 block of South 425 Road in Chelsea just before 1:30 this morning was met by a man standing on his porch. That man reportedly fired a gun at the deputy. The deputy returned fire killing the man. The Mayes County Sheriff requested OSBI investigate the shooting. The man's name will be released once next of kin has been notified. As usual, OSBI will not release the deputy's name since he is the subject of a criminal investigation. The sheriff will determine his active duty status.
