Full Notification

At approximately 6:30 pm, December 27, the Adair County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting a shooting at Rout 5, Box 1866 in Stillwell. When deputies arrived, they discovered the body of Rickey Lee Harlin (d.o.b. 1/26/1960) outside his home. Harlin appeared to have been shot. Rodney Wilson (d.o.b. 3/31/1975) was arrested at the scene. Wilson was booked into the county jail on one count of first degree murder. The sheriff requested OSBI assistance in this case. While the investigation into the murder continues, it appears Wilson went to Harlin's home where a confrontation ensued.
