Shooting Death Investigation, 1000 block of West Compton Boulevard, Compton #LASD Homicide (Log 313)

Sheriff's Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man on Saturday, December 21, 2013, in the 1000 block of West Compton Boulevard, Compton.
Detectives have learned that at approximately 10:30 PM, deputies from the Compton Sheriff's Station responded to the business location regarding a report of a gunshot victim. When deputies arrived, they found the victim in front of the business, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Although there is no suspect information, detectives believe the shooting was gang-related.
There is no further information at this time.
