William Douglas (B/M, 38) charged & arrested for robberies of First South Bank (12/4) & First Citizens Bank (12/12).
Update to First South Bank Robbery / First Citizens Bank Robbery
Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department have identified and charged a suspect in connection with the robbery of First South Bank on December 4, 2013. The suspect has been identified as William Alexander Douglas (B/M, 38 years of age) of 1401 Kenneth Drive, Spring Lake, NC. Douglas was taken into custody during the evening hours of December 19, 2013 at a residence in the Eureka Springs community. During the arrest of Douglas, detectives located evidence of the felonious possession of marijuana and a handgun in the possession of a convicted felon. Douglas has also been charged with the robbery of First Citizens Bank that occurred on December 12, 2013. William Douglas was charged with the following offenses and processed at the Cumberland County Detention Center, where he remains on an $115,000 secured bond.
