Jennifer Deanne McMahan charged with stealing jewelry and selling it 
Detective Paul Alkire of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Jennifer Deanne McMahan, 40, of Jamestown Road in Morganton, with felony obtaining property by false pretense and misdemeanor larceny.
Alkire said, on Nov. 8, McMahan stole jewelry from the home of Nancy Day, of Meadow Ridge Drive in Marion, and sold it to another individual.
The victim and suspect are acquainted.
