Anyone with information about Nov. 16 break-in at Bennick Grading could receive cash rewards
Bennick Grading, on U.S. 70 East in Nebo, is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the person responsible for a break-in and theft at the business in mid-November.
McDowell County Crimestoppers is also offering a cash reward.
Detective Billie Brown of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office said someone cut the chain link fence surrounding the business between midnight and 1 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, stole a truck and other property, crashed back through the fence and left the scene.
The truck was abandoned nearby and recovered.
Still missing is $2,500 worth of property, including a calculator, four socket sets, a chainsaw, a transit, cutting torches and a laser.
