Traffic related impacts of Hawthorne Blvd due to paving operations

Portions of Hawthorne Blvd will be closed between the hours of 8:00 pm and 6:00 am, Tuesday (12-17) through Thursday (12-19)

 

On Tuesday, December 17th the major impacts anticipated are:

 

  • Northbound Hawthorne Blvd, the 3 most outside, lanes (#2, #3 and #4) will be closed for paving at 190th St.
  • Southbound Hawthorne Blvd, the 3 most inside lanes (#1, #2 and #3) will be closed for paving from 190th to approximately Spencer St.

 

On Wednesday, December 18th the major impacts anticipated are:

 

  • Southbound Hawthorne Blvd, the 3 most inside lanes (#1, #2 and #3) will be closed for paving from approximately Spencer St. to Fashion Way
  • Northbound Hawthorne Blvd, the 3 most inside lanes (#1, #2 and #3) will be closed for paving from Del Amo Cir to approximately Maricopa St

 

On Thursday, December 19th the major impacts anticipated are:

 

  • Northbound Hawthorne Blvd, the 3 most inside lanes (#1, #2 and #3) will be closed for paving from approximately Maricopa St to 190th St

 

Through traffic and turning movements onto or off of side streets will be temporarily prohibited across Hawthorne Blvd during active paving operations (starting at approximately 10:00 PM).

 

Delays are expected.  Avoid the area is possible.
