Cash rewards offered for information leading to arrest of suspect in Justice Road break-in

Investigators with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office need help solving a break-in on Justice Road last week.
The owner of the home, as well as McDowell County Crimestoppers, is offering a cash reward.
William Jeffery Moore, of Justice Road, off Airport Road in Marion, reported on Thursday, Dec. 12 that someone broke into his house between 9:30 a.m. and 10:10 p.m. and stole $1,800 worth of items, including a stainless Smith & Wesson .357-caliber 4-inch revolver, electronics, clothes, ammunition, a pellet gun and a video game system and a controller.
Moore is offering a $500 cash reward leading to the arrest of the suspect. McDowell County Crimestoppers is also offering a cash reward, and, with Crimestoppers, your identity remains anonymous.
Anyone with information about the break-in or suspect is asked to call Detective Billie Brown of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office at 652-2237 or Crimestoppers at 65-CRIME (652-7463).
