Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM EST this
afternoon...
* locations... the Eastern Shore of Maryland... Delaware... much of
New Jersey... southeast Pennsylvania away from the Metro
Philadelphia area.
* Hazard types... heavy snowfall.
* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches across New
Jersey and Delmarva... 4 to 6 across southeast Pennsylvania.
* Timing... beginning by dawn and lasting into the afternoon.
* Impacts... moderate to severe travel impacts during the morning
commute. Icy roads after the snow... since temperatures will
fall below freezing late Tuesday... and last for a few days.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
