The possibility of light snow is expected late this afternoon into early evening as a front moves from the southwest to the northeast. Snow can be expected to develop late this afternoon into early evening as the front moves through Mahwah. Snow is expected to be light although accumulations of 1'-2" may occur depending upon the rain/snow line. This may result in reduced visibility when driving. The snow is expected to turn into freezing rain throughout the night resulting in hazardous road conditions. The sleet should turn into all rain by early morning. If traveling this afternoon or evening and encountering these conditions drive extra slowly and proceed with caution. Additional notices will be issued if necessary.
