Winter Storm Preparations
The winter storm season is upon us and severe weather can occur with little warning. Seal Beach and surrounding coastal areas of Orange County sometimes experience flooding from heavy rain and high tides. The Seal Beach Police Department encourages you to take precautionary measures to help protect yourself and your home. The City of Seal Beach offers free sandbags for residents. Sandbag stations are located at Arbor Park (4665 Lampson Ave.) , Orange County Fire Station #44 (8th Street and Central Avenue) and the Naval Weapons Station Liberty Gate (Seal Beach Bl., south of Landing Avenue).
