Sky Preston Lee Ripley, 18, of 1879 Mountain Pine Road, was taken into custody at his residence shortly after 4:30 p.m. Friday and charged with a misdemeanor count of assault on a household or family member and was later released on $1,000 bond. He is set to appear Dec. 17 in district court.
The female victim, 56, said a witness, 60, of Lonsdale, had discovered she was missing $10 and asked Ripley if she could have it back. Ripley allegedly became “combative” so the victim asked him to leave and he became “more combative” and shoved the victim against the wall, pinning her there.
A second witness, 20, who also lived at the residence, tried to get Ripley off the victim and Ripley allegedly punched him in the nose. The victim was finally able to get Ripley out of the house and once outside he allegedly smashed the passenger’s side window of a Dodge Caravan belonging to the female witness.
The report notes the female witness declined to press charges regarding the damage to her vehicle.
